Reddit content strategy pricing, for a platform that punishes selling.
A Reddit system is $500, one-time: the Single-Platform System. Reddit is not a channel you can start by promoting, so the system starts with you using the communities, then drafts educational answers for the threads where your expertise helps, and leaves every post to you.
What a Reddit system costs.
Reddit is one platform, so it is the Single-Platform System. The price covers choosing the communities, writing down their rules, and building the Reddit answer drafting workflow that runs inside them.
- What it builds
- A workflow that finds the right threads and drafts answers from your expertise
- How it publishes
- A person on your team edits, posts and says who they work for
- How it watches
- Through Reddit’s own free tools for businesses, or an app Reddit has approved
- Included
- Three months of maintenance for defects in what we delivered
- After that
- Optional care from $250 a month, or nothing at all
- One-time setup
- $500, a starting price for a defined scope
Reddit is often paired with LinkedIn, because an answer that helps on Reddit makes a good LinkedIn post once it is rewritten for a professional feed. The pair is the Two-Platform System at $750, and each platform still gets drafts written for its own norms. Every tier is on the content automation pricing page.
Where Reddit sits on the ladder.
Reddit counts as one platform, but it rarely stays alone for long: an answer that helps a community makes a strong LinkedIn post once it is rewritten for a professional feed. Open a setup to see exactly what it covers.

See what it coversUse Reddit for a couple of weeks before you post.
Communities notice an account that arrives only to promote. So the first stage is not automated at all: you join the subreddits where your buyers ask questions, read them, and take part as a member.
- 01
Read the room
Join the communities and read their rules, tone and top posts
- 02
Take part
Comment and vote as a member for a couple of weeks
- 03
Answer questions
Reply where your expertise genuinely helps, with no links to yourself
- 04
Teach in a post
Share educational posts that stand on their own
- 05
Mention your work
Only where the community’s rules allow it, and always disclosed
The rungs are in that order for a reason. An answer from an account with a history in the community reads as help; the same answer from a new account reads as marketing, and many subreddits remove it.
Educational content comes first and stays first. Most weeks the system drafts answers and posts that teach something, and a mention of your company happens only where the community allows it and you have earned it.
How an answer gets drafted.
Reddit’s Responsible Builder Policy means an app must be approved before it reads Reddit’s data, so the system watches communities through Reddit’s own tools for businesses or an approved app, never by scraping. Most threads are filtered out before anything is written.
- Every new thread in your communities Watch
- Threads about a problem you solve Relevance
- Threads where the rules allow an answer Rules
- One answer, written for that thread Draft
Each draft is written for one thread, in the community’s language, from what your business actually knows. It is never a template pasted into many subreddits: the second of the Reddit Rules asks members to “Participate authentically in communities where you have a personal interest, and do not spam”.
The person who posts reads the draft, puts it in their own words where they want to, posts it from their own account and says who they work for. That last step keeps the account trusted. The full workflow is on our Reddit content strategy page.
What Reddit allows, and what it does not.
The constraints are the strategy. These are the lines every Reddit system we build stays inside, and the reason some things are never automated.
An answer written for one thread
Useful to the person asking, and posted by a member of the community
An educational post
Teaches something on its own, without asking anyone to buy anything
Mentioning your company
Only where the subreddit’s rules allow it, with the affiliation stated plainly
The same post in many subreddits
Repetitive mass posting is spam under Reddit’s rules
A bot that posts, comments or votes
No system of ours ever acts on Reddit by itself
No workflow can promise an account will never be restricted. Each subreddit sets its own rules on links, self-promotion and disclosure, and its moderators enforce them their own way. Reddit’s own enforcement list runs from “Asking you nicely to knock it off” to “Temporary or permanent suspension of accounts”, and it names no number of posts at which one becomes the other. What the system does is make the careful route the easy one.
What n8n, Zapier and Make can do on Reddit.
All three can post and comment on Reddit. That is exactly why the system is built so that none of them does.
n8n’s Reddit node can submit a post, create a comment and write a reply. Zapier’s Reddit app has Create Post and Create Comment actions, and triggers for new hot posts and posts matching a search. Make’s Reddit app can submit a post or a comment and watch a subreddit for new posts. All three work through Reddit’s API, so all three are under its rules.
Those rules are where the price stops. n8n and Make connect through a Reddit app you create, and n8n’s Reddit credential page says what that now takes: “Reddit closed self-service access to their public data API in November 2025”, and a new app needs Reddit’s manual approval first. Reddit’s Data API Terms say that using the data APIs “for commercial purposes” means entering “a separate agreement with Reddit”, and they forbid using the APIs “to spam, incentivize, or harass users”. Rather than test where a business’s monitoring falls under that clause, the setup listens through Reddit’s own tools for businesses or an app Reddit has approved, and the posting step every one of the three offers is never switched on.
So three things stay with a person on your team: the post itself, the reply when someone answers back, and saying who they work for. The system’s work ends at a draft written for one thread.
Questions about Reddit content strategy pricing.
How much does a Reddit content strategy cost?
$500, one-time, as the Single-Platform System. That covers choosing the communities, writing down each one’s rules and building the workflow that drafts answers inside them, while a person on your team does the posting. Three months of maintenance are included, and care after that is optional, from $250 a month.
Why can’t I start posting about my company straight away?
Because Reddit communities remove promotion from accounts with no history, and members remember it. Using Reddit as a member for a couple of weeks first, then answering questions, is what makes a later mention of your work acceptable.
Does the system post on Reddit for me?
No. A person on your team posts every answer from their own account and says who they work for. The system finds the threads and drafts the answer; it never posts, comments or votes.
What kind of content works on Reddit?
Educational content: answers that solve the asker’s problem, and posts that teach something useful on their own. Promotion, where a community allows it at all, is occasional and always disclosed.
How does the system find the right threads?
Through Reddit’s own free tools for businesses, which track keywords and conversations, or through an app Reddit has approved. Since late 2025 Reddit has required approval before any app reads its data, so we never scrape it.
Can Reddit be combined with another platform?
Yes. Reddit and LinkedIn are a common pair, and two platforms are the Two-Platform System at $750. Each one still gets drafts written for its own norms, never one post copied across both.
